Holly Havers is an Australian literary fiction writer, exploring sapphic desire and feminine selfhood.Holly grew up on a broadacre farm in conservative Central Queensland, dreaming of big city life. She escaped through books, writing, and dance performances with her sisters in the lounge room.Holly has a Bachelor of Communication in Creative Writing from University of Canberra. For 20+ years, Holly worked all over Australia as a communications executive in the infrastructure, construction and resources industries.In 2025, she quit her corporate job to organise her life around writing. Holly’s work explores queer desire, femininity, and psychological patterns of human selfhood. Holly mythologises her life through her work. She is on a lifelong hunt for meaning in the beliefs and patterns that shape us.Holly lives in Melbourne with her partner, kids and pets. Her literary coming-of-age fiction is out on submission, and her sequel is underway.
